Community Consultation Launched

We need your input!

Launched in 1824, HMS Unicorn is one of the six oldest ships in the world. Unicorn has been docked in Dundee since 1873 and is a much-loved feature of the Dundee waterfront. From her origins in the Royal Navy to her use as Royal Naval Reserves training ship, Unicorn has many incredible stories to tell.

Time and the weather have taken their toll on the ship and a long-term plan is needed to ensure she can be enjoyed by everyone for generations to come. The Unicorn Preservation Society is responsible for the care, conservation and interpretation of the ship. Plans are underway to move Unicorn into dry dock nearby and create a museum and visitor centre to help tell her story, and retain her place in the heart of Dundee. To help us shape these plans, we need your input and opinions.

By completing this short survey you will be helping us to ensure that when we create a long term home for Unicorn, we will also create a community resource that will encourage visitors to interact with and enjoy her.
